2. Dubai Museum: The Dubai Museum was built in 1787 in the Al-Fahidi Fort and is the oldest building in the Emirate. An Emirati wind tower and many traditional boats are among the exhibits in the museum. The complex houses a variety of galleries illustrating the general culture of the area, focusing primarily on the 1800s. It also displays fascinating old maps of the Emirates and Dubai explaining the region’s huge expansion after the oil boom, in addition to the museum’s main aim of presenting the traditional way of life in Dubai. 

Best time to visit: In November and April, when the weather is comparatively cooler, it is the best time to visit the Dubai Museum.

3. Heritage and Diving Village: The Dubai Folk Village is located along the Bur Dubai side of Dubai Creek, next to the former residence of the Sheikh.
