Many of the oldest and best-preserved historical monuments may be found in Sharjah. Dubai is roughly 40 kilometres away from Sharjah. Enter the historic yet quaint city of Sharjah as you leave the bustling and skyscraping structures of Dubai. You’ll be greeted by some of the most stunning historical landmarks and traditional Arab souks. Sharjah is replete with cultural assets that tourists can enjoy. The King Faisal Mosque will greet you as you pass across the eye-catching Sharjah Corniche. In the entire Emirate, this mosque is the biggest. Its scale, majesty, and exquisite architecture will wow you. Make your way to the Central/Blue Souk. Known by another name, the Souk Al Markazi, it is situated adjacent to the Khalid Lagoon. In and of itself, this historic market is a landmark. You could travel back in time to the Arabian Nights era by coming here! Purchase some exquisitely lovely traditional jewellery, rugs, and other home decor pieces. The Qanat Al Qasba, a kilometer-long canal, would be the next stop. Go for a stroll here. Here, you can also ride the enormous Ferris Wheel to get some amazing aerial views of Sharjah. With its assortment of the most unusual marine species, this local fish market is also a sight not to be missed.
